Next up, anxious to practice some other techniques and just having fun, I made this little fox fella. He was sort of rush because toward the middle I felt I wasn't really learning anything new. I slapped some fibermesh on him, played with some settings, and called it finished. Cute, but meh.
Anxious to try something a little more human and maybe some clothing, I fumbled through this lady. I wanted her to have cartoony proportions, and I'm happy with some of it, but I can still feel the need to practice A LOT more.
I moved on to a male character with exaggerated proportions. I just love the cartoon exaggerations and at this point, it's my main goal in Zbrush.
Very crude armor set that I slapped together in about 20 mins. Theres shirt poking through the belt and breast plate, but this was just more experimentation. At this point, I'm starting to feel more comfortable with the workflow. It's still mind boggling (even now!) at times, but the basics are starting to feel more natural.
My first attempt at a female bust. I was mainly focused on working on eyes and Polypainting. The basics of Polypainting were becoming more intuitive. It's hard not to fall in love with Zbrush as you're working with it. Things start to feel so natural and its easy to forget that you're looking at a monitor.
2 hours worth of creating base meshes. These are all low poly count models that I sculpted in different ways with decent, sculpt-able topology. It was fun just playing with curves, shapes and forms.
